Frequently asked questions
How PromptConvert works, which models we support, and what happens to your data.
- What is PromptConvert?
- PromptConvert is a free prompt translator that converts AI image prompts between different models. Paste a Midjourney prompt and get Flux-, DALL·E-, or Stable Diffusion–ready copy in one click. We normalize parameters (e.g. aspect ratio) and adapt wording so the intent carries over. Try the converter.
- Which models are supported?
- You can convert to and from Midjourney, Flux, Stable Diffusion 3 (SD3), DALL·E, Leonardo, Ideogram, Recraft, Grok Imagine, and others. Pick any source and one or more targets on the converter. Popular landing pages: Midjourney → Flux, Midjourney → DALL·E, Midjourney → Stable Diffusion. See all conversion guides.
- How do I use it?
- Paste your existing prompt, choose the source model (where the prompt came from) and the target model(s) you want. Click Convert and copy the result into your target tool. Parameters like aspect ratio are shown in a standard form (e.g.
[ar=16:9]); use them in your target app as needed. - Do you store my prompts or images?
- We do not store prompts or image bytes. Conversion is done in real time and we don’t log prompt content. If you use the optional "Start from image" (vibe) feature, the image is sent for analysis only and is not stored. See our Privacy Policy for details.
- Why do results look different between models?
- Each model interprets prompts differently. We translate wording and parameters so the intent carries over, but the actual image will vary by model. There’s no way to get pixel-identical output across Midjourney, Flux, DALL·E, and Stable Diffusion—they have different training and behaviors.
- Is it free?
- Yes. The converter is free to use. We may show ads and, where applicable, affiliate links to model providers. If we add a premium tier later (e.g. higher limits or API access), the core conversion will stay free.
